From 1st January 2007, new legislation governing the information that must be available on all electronic forms of communication came into effect. The new laws have been introduced to provide consumers with confidence that the web site/company they are dealing with are completely legitimate.
All companies with an online presence must now display the following information prominently on all forms of electronic communication including Electronic Mail and Web Sites.

@media, now in its third year will once again commence this summer in London… and now for the first time, in San Fransisco and Hong Kong.
@media is for like minded web and other ‘new’ media developers to congregate, eat, drink and enter symposium about all things new media related. It must be said that the event if very web bias, but Adobe Flash is always mentioned along with other emerging technologies, but almost all are web based.

In the summer of 2006, Siân and I were filmed for a documentory about being green. The film showcases three households throughout Greater Manchester and Lancashire that are all trying to be a little bit more green.
The Green Building was chosen for obvious reasons and Siân and I volunteered to be filmed across two days in June.

The arrival of a new year brings lots of expectations, resolutions and new ideas. 2007 is going to be a busy year for us, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Firstly I hope everyone had a good Christmas and New Years celebration. We had a great time, although we did pick up a nasty stomach bug in the days between Christmas and New Years - nothing to do with my cooking though! Due to sickness, I never made it to The Warehouse Project on New Years Eve, although I heard it was good. We did make it to the last Warehouse Project on New Years Day to see the venue out one last time with 2 Many DJs.

Happy New Year to everyone. I am hoping that 2007 will be just as good, hopefully better, as 2006 was for us. It has been a rollercoaster year and we are looking forward to some interesting announcements this year, from us and the rest of the technology world.
