The arrival of a new year brings lots of expectations, resolutions and new ideas. 2007 is going to be a busy year for us, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Firstly I hope everyone had a good Christmas and New Years celebration. We had a great time, although we did pick up a nasty stomach bug in the days between Christmas and New Years - nothing to do with my cooking though! Due to sickness, I never made it to The Warehouse Project on New Years Eve, although I heard it was good. We did make it to the last Warehouse Project on New Years Day to see the venue out one last time with 2 Many DJs.
This year Polaris Digital will be refocusing our business on providing video services for productions of all sizes. We already have two very exciting projects to work on over the next three months, which hopefully will lead to more work. On the web site front, we will naturally be supporting our existing customers and this year should see the first ’stable’ 1.0 release of the PDnH Server framework. Although news of PDnH Server has been quiet for the past few months, work on it has been progressing steadily. Two of our production web sites are now using it successfully and we are successfully fixing all the bugs that are found.
So we’re very excited about 2007 - see you on the other side.
